Le Porteuse (“we” “us”) may process your personal data in relation to your use of this website and the purchases you make from us. For this processing we act as a controller. This privacy policy sets out the personal data that we may process and the rights you have related to our processing.

What Personal Data do we Process? 

We process personal data such as:

  • Your contact information such as name, address, phone number, e-mail address. 

  • Your billing information such as your name, address, bank account information. 

  • The information you provide in any email or inquiry you send to us. 


 

Sharing of Personal Data 

We do not share your personal data with third parties, other than in those manners as set out below. 

  • Suppliers. We may share your personal data with trusted suppliers that provide services on our behalf. For example, this could be suppliers that provide web hosting, technical support and process payments. These suppliers ensure that we are able to provide our services and provide you with the product(s) you have ordered. 

  • Public bodies. Where we are required to do so by law, we may share personal data with a law enforcement, government agency, a regulatory body, court or other public body. This is, for example, relevant for our bookkeeping duties. 

  • Professional advisors. Where relevant, your personal data may be shared with our accountants, lawyers or other professionals who are bound by contractual obligation of confidentiality.

We aim to not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EEA. However, our use of suppliers may result in such transfers of personal data. Where your personal data is transferred to a location outside the EEA, the transfer will be conducted in accordance with an adequacy decision or other transfer mechanism as provided for in Article 45 of the GDPR or the standard contractual clauses (SCC) as approved by the European Commission. 

 

Your Rights 

When we process personal data you have the following rights. It should be noted that the rights are not absolute and their may be limitations to your ability to exercise your right(s), for example, where we have a legal duty to process the information. 

  • Access to your personal data. You may request access to the personal data we process about you. 

  • Correction of your personal data. If you believe that the personal data we process about you is incomplete or incorrect you may request that we correct this. 

  • Deletion of personal data. In some situations you may request that we delete your personal data. 

  • Limit our processing of your personal data. You may request that we limit our processing of your personal data. 

  • Protest against our processing of personal data. Where we process your personal data based on our legitimate interest, you may protest to our processing of this personal information. 

  • Data portability. Where we process your personal data, you can request that we transfer your personal data to another controller.
